15 precautions for mosaic tile paving

1. Before wall tiles are used, carefully check the size (length, width, diagonal, flatness), color difference and variety of wall tiles to prevent mixing. The variety, specification, color and pattern of wall tiles shall meet the requirements of design and residents, and the surface shall not have quality defects such as scratches, missing edges and corners.

2, the wall tiles should be soaked for 0.5 to 2 hours before paving, subject to the brick body does not bubble, take out and dry for use.

3. Before pasting, the reference point should be selected for setting out and positioning and arranging bricks. Non-whole bricks should be discharged at secondary positions or negative corners. Each wall should not have two rows of non-whole bricks, and the width of non-whole bricks should not be less than 1/3 of the whole brick.

Before pasting, horizontal and vertical marks shall be determined, bottom ruler shall be padded, hanging line shall be pasted. Wall tile surface should be flat, joints should be straight, seam width should be uniform. The female corner brick should be pressed to the correct direction, and the male corner line should be made into a 45° angle butt joint. At the protruding part of the wall surface, the whole brick should be cut and matched, and it is not allowed to use non-whole bricks to piece together.

4, cement use 42.5 grade cement, combined mortar should use 1:2 cement mortar, mortar thickness should be 6~10 mm. Cement mortar should be fully paved on the back of wall tiles, one wall should not be paved to the top at one time to prevent collapse.

5, it is strictly prohibited to use hard tools, knock the tile surface, can only use wood or rubber hammer.

6, wood partition mosaic tiles, should first hang steel mesh on the wood base, plaster base and then paste wall tiles.

7. When wall tiles are pasted, the flatness shall be inspected with 1m ruler, the error shall be 1mm, 2m ruler inspection shall be conducted, the flatness shall be 2mm, the gap width between adjacent tiles shall be 2mm, the flatness shall be 3mm, and the height difference of joints shall be 1 mm.

8. Before the belt tile is inlaid, check whether the size is coordinated with the size of the wall tile. The lower opening of the belt tile is not less than 800mm from the ground. The upper belt brick is less than or equal to 1800mm from the ground.

9. During the process of wall tile embedding, the mortar between the brick joints must be full, and hollowing is strictly prohibited. Broken corner tiles must be replaced. After the top layer of wall tiles is pasted, cement mortar shall be applied to fill the upper gap to prevent wall tiles from cracking when drilling holes in the ceiling.

10. The bottom layer of wall tiles should be reserved for subsidies after the floor tiles are finished. When purchasing wall tiles for the second time, sample tiles must be brought and tiles of the same color number must be selected.

11. The intersection of wall tiles and washstands, bathtubs, etc. shall be subsidized after the washstands and bathtubs are installed. The wall tile and switch socket box opening shall be cut tightly, and there shall be no phenomenon that the panel cannot cover the gap when the wall tile is pasted on the switch panel.

12. When wall tiles are pasted, the outlet hole of the switch panel or water pipe is in the middle of the wall tiles. The wall tiles are not allowed to be disconnected. The cutting machine should be used to cut holes. The holes should be tight.

13, wall tiles inlaid paste, should consider the intersection with the door opening should be flat, the door line should be able to completely cover the gap.

14, mosaics must be used within 1 hour after the end of the paste dry joint agent (or white cement) pointing, clean and clean. Clean the seam once before handover and acceptance.

15. When pasting matte tiles, towels or soft cloths must be used to wipe the surface, and cleaning balls must not be used.
